13. Greek-Style Toastie

This breakfast was so delicious. It ticked every single box on my list. It was quick, easy, healthy, used ingredients you would normally have in the house, and it was most importantly YUM! I got my recipe from Jamie Oliver’s 15 minute meals book. It has a section in the back for breakfast so I might be trying some other recipes of his soon.

This recipe is so easy; you cannot possibly go wrong. The flavours are yum. I also made some with kalamata olives so you can also add those if you want as well.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients (per person):

2 slices of bread
A thin slice of feta (you can crumble it on if you want)
1 tomato sliced
1/2 avocado cut into cubes
Sprinkle of dry oregano

Method:

Simply place your bread on the sandwich press while it is heating up. Place the feta the tomato and avocado and then give a generous sprinkle of oregano to finish it off. Place another slice of bread on top and toast until golden.

Cut into triangles or whatever you want and serve. Enjoy!

So, was this my ideal breakfast? Yes/No/Maybe
Would I make it again? Yes/No/Maybe
Would I recommend it? Yes/No/Maybe
